The career, in brief.
Major General Patrick (PAT) Akem-Vingir (rtd), PhD, is a strategic leadership and governance expert with over 33 years of military, legal, and executive experience. He rose to the rank of Major General and served as Provost Marshal of the Nigerian Army — the highest authority for military policing, discipline, and justice administration — with command and operational roles in Nigeria and on UN and ECOWAS missions in Somalia, Liberia, and Sierra Leone.
A lawyer with an LLM (Distinction) from Kent and a PhD in Criminal Justice, he founded and leads BluePoint Leadership Consultants, where he trains senior leaders at the NNPCL, the FIRS, the judiciary, the National Assembly, and across the security sector. He is a certified John Maxwell speaker, trainer, and coach, a Leadership Challenge facilitator, and a published author.
He also serves as Pastor-in-Charge of RCCG Jesus House, Abuja, an ordained minister of the Redeemed Christian Church of God devoted to leadership development, youth empowerment, and value-driven living. He led the expansion of the RCCG's missionary work into Liberia — now numbering nearly 200 parishes — and serves as the RCCG's Mission Security Adviser.
